Join the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Political Science Department, and Adams Library for a panel discussion about jobs in civics and service in Rhode Island.
Panelists include SUZY ALBA (RIC '05, Director of Civic Education, RI Department of State), AMY ALBERT (Recruitment Specialist, AmeriCorps), ADAM DONALDSON (National and Community Service Program Specialist; Office of Student, Community & Academic Support; Rhode Island Department of Elementary & Secondary Education), TRACY DUFFAUT (Director of Education Programs, Skills for Rhode Island’s Future), NIRVA LAFORTUNE (Executive Director, City Year Providence), and JULIA RENAUD (Associate Director of Grants & Strategic Initiatives, RI Council for the Humanities). Brandon Bun and Abigail Standeven, students from History 357 - Public History Experiences, will introduce their new library exhibit James R. Langevin: Turning Tragedy into Advocacy.
